EARL LUNSFORD PASSES AWAY:
Former Bombers GM Earl Lundsford died on Wednesday at the age of 74 at his home in Fort Worth, Texas. Lunsford, a member of both the Bombers and CFL Hall of Fame, was the club GM for 15 years from 1968 to 1982. Lunsford played six seasons with the Calgary Stampeders rushing for 6,994 yards and 55 touchdowns.

DE Tom Canada was back at practice on Thursday after missing a day due to illness. DT Jerome Haywood was absent for the second day in a row and is now the proud father of a baby daughter born to him and his girlfiend late Wednesday night. WR Terrence Edwards (ribs) practised on Thursday and and WR Derick Armstrong (calf) is expected to return to the field on Friday. Both are expected to play on Sunday.
