Brandon RCMP are asking for the public's help in locating two suspects in a break-and-enter around 9:30 a.m. Monday at a farm in the RM of Daly, 16 kilometres northwest of Alexander.
RCMP were called to the area by concerned neighbours who had seen two men walking down the driveway. Investigators found the pair went to the residence shortly after 8 a.m. Monday and asked to use the phone to call someone to come and get them, as their vehicle had run out of gas.
After the resident left the house, the two suspects returned and broke in, police say. They stole an undisclosed amount of money, a .22 magnum rifle, a single-shot 12-gauge shotgun, a Sony Playstation 2, and some liquor.
Police are looking for two non-white male suspects in their late teens or early 20s. One is described as wearing black track pants and black hoodie, with the hood pulled up over his head, and has a slender build.
The second suspect is described as wearing longer white shorts and a white hoodie, and is heavier set. They had been driving a red 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass with Saskatchewan plates, which has since been recovered.RCMP.
