The body of a man reported missing last month was found Sunday in the Red River.

Youth charged after chase

FOUR teenage boys have been charged following a police chase involving a stolen car Wednesday night.

At about 8 p.m., police patrolling in the area of Sutherland Avenue and Gomez Street observed several youths in an erratically driven vehicle they believed to be stolen. When police tried to stop the vehicle, it took off, police said in a news release. The officers followed the vehicle to the 100 block of Tudor Crescent in East Elmwood, where the driver was apprehended as he fled the vehicle. Three suspected passengers were apprehended in the area a short time later.

The 17-year-old driver has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police officers and failure to comply with conditions of an undertaking. The three passengers, aged 14, 16 and 18, also face several charges.
