It's Victoria Day soon -- which means all civic offices will close on Monday. May 19. Here's other details on what you'll find open on May 19:
No recycling or garbage collection (resumes May 20 on Day 1 of five-day cycle)
The Brady Road Landfill will be open Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Monday from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Winnipeg Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule
All library branches will be closed Monday, but will operate on normal hours Saturday. On Sunday, The Millenium, St. Boniface and Sir William Stephenson branches will open.
Assiniboine Park Conservatory will be open Sunday and Monday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Assiniboine Park Zoo will be open 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. all weekend
All pools are closed Monday, except Pan Am Pool. The Pan Am will open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The pools are operating on regular hours for Saturday and Sunday.
All leisure hours are closed Monday, but is scheduled for regular hours Saturday and Sunday.
Animal Services Agency will be closed Monday, but is scheduled for regular hours Saturday and Sunday.
The city's four roadway bike paths on Wellington Crescent, Wolseley Avenue, Scotia Street and Lyndale Drive, will open for the season on Sunday. The paths will close to vehicle traffic from 8 a.m. to dusk every Sunday and statuatory holiday until early October.
The John Blumberg, Kildonan Park, Windsor Park, Crescent Drive and Harbour View golf courses are open from dawn until dusk this weekend.
