Police arrested a suspect in a series of Winnipeg robberies between Jan. 29 and March 9, 2008
A number of businesses were robbed by a man in disguise and an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes were stolen.
A clerk was physically assaulted during one of the robberies but was not injured.
A 29-year-old man was arrested on July 3, 2008 and charged with 12 counts of robbery, 11 counts of wearing a disguise with intent and failure to comply with the conditions of a recognizance.
The man was detained at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.
