Winnipeg police have charged a 47-year-old man with drug trafficking and manslaughter following the over-dose death last October of a 20-year-old Winnipeg woman.
Wendy Henry was taken to hospital and died following an overdose of a narcotic pain-killer.
Henry's overdose occurred at the residence of the accused in the 200 block of Dufferin Avenue, police said. She and the man were acquaintances.
Curtis James Haas has been charged with manslaughter and trafficking in a controlled drug or substance. He is in custody at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.
