MONTREAL - Quebec accounting firms RSM Richter and Chamberland Hodge have merged into a bigger Montreal-based business services company with more than 400 employees.
Financial terms of the deal, announced Monday, were not revealed. The combined company will have 43 partners and more than 400 employees, the companies said.
"RSM Richter's goal is to expand its service offering, specifically to better serve Quebec's mid-sized francophone business market," Stephen Rosenhek, co-managing partner at RSM Richter, said in a release.
"Through its familiarity with this market, Chamberland Hodge is the ideal partner for us to pursue our interests in this area."
RSM Richter is based in Montreal and has offices in Toronto and Calgary. Chamberland Hodge, founded in Montreal in'85, has more than 40 employees.
"RSM Richter and Chamberland Hodge have been able to identify substantial common ground beyond language issues," Rosenkek added. "Together, we form a bilingual firm that is both in touch with the new realities of local businesses and open to international opportunities."
RSM Richter was founded in'26 and provides financial advisory services in auditing, taxation, corporate restructuring, business valuation, corporate finance, litigation, insolvency, forensic accounting and wealth management.
